The AMT design professionals use advanced electronic design automation and embedded software design tools for the Microsoft Windows and network environment to quickly and efficiently tackle any board design task. Extensive design experience coupled with full schematic-to-PCB linking, comprehensive manual and interactive placement and routing tools, shape-based autorouting, integrated component library management, versatile documentation and design annotation support, and powerful board signal integrity analysis provide a broad design capability.
AMT can provide layout designs from basic single sided to complex, high/ultra-high density, double sided, mixed technology PCB assemblies. Footprint design and library generation for odd shaped and advanced component package types is provided. AMT has experience with the following types of PCBs:
An AMT layout designer(s) can work on-site during critical stages of the project, if necessary, to support the design team. A Mentor, PADs, P-CAD or OrCAD station must be provided.

Capable and reliable vendors are critical to success as PCB fabrication and assembly technologies become increasingly more sophisticated. AMT can provide experienced guidance and assistance with vendor selection and certification. Where necessary (typical on advanced technology designs), AMT designers interact with the PCB and stencil manufacture to ensure proper fabrication.
AMT has developed several one and two day seminars/training classes to help engineers and managers stay abreast of the technology. These classes can be given onsite and customized for your personnel.
